About Me
Alexandria Davis is a UCLA Ph.D. Candidate in Political Science with a concentration in Race, Ethnicity, and Politics and American Politics. Her research observes political behavior and public opinion of marginalized communities. Broadly, her research interests include racial and ethnic politics, Black political behavior, political psychology, intersectionality, and voting.
Her upcoming dissertation project will provide a profile of Black non-voting in recent Presidential elections. Alexandria seeks to conceptualize a novel measure of Black voter apathy to explain growing non-voting and the Black electorate's distinct relationship with politics.
Alexandria's research has been supported by the National Science Foundation and the UCLA Race and Ethnicity in Politics and Society Lab.
